about to buy winter wheels/rims from tirerack need some help

Hey guys i have a 2011 Victory Red Camaro 2LT RS and I am about to purchase a set of winter tires and rims for my car.

Here are the tires I am thinking of purchasing:

225/60R18 Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 Blackwall

and here are the rims:

18X8 moda EB1 Hyper Silver

If I get these tires mounted and balanced by tirerack will I be able to just pop these on my car, store my PZeros until spring, and GO! or is anything else required.

I've decided to go with no TPMS sensors as I've heard its not that big of a deal.

PLEASE let me know if you have any suggestions or comments.

Thanks!

If you do a search "winter wheels" there are a bunch of post
about packages and other things related.

Not sure if you have to get the 18" package -the 17" package
with TPSM installed prices out to the same as the 18" without

I believe all packages come with centering rings and lug nuts

I'm sure Monday -Rudy from Tirerack will see this post and
help you out -if not you could email him here- rudy@tirerack.com

FYI- the size of my 17" winter set is only a little smaller than
the stock 20" i took off.

Rudy,

I was thinking of getting 4 of the
Size:225/60R18 -Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 tires for front and back

as well as the:
18x8 moda EB1 rims for the tires

Will I have any issues with all the tires being the same size? (I'm very new to this)
If I order these tires mounted and balanced all I will have to do is install and GO? Is there anything special I need to do with my TPMS sensors?

Your answers are appreciated. (If you have any experience with tires in a similar price range let me know as I will certainly go with what you think is best) I live in NY and need to be able to drive in icy conditions as well as a few inches of snow here and there. I could care less about noise unless its insane I just want to make sure I can feel safe in my camaro this winter!

Thanks!

Hi,

Yes the same size on all 4 corners is recommended. As far as the TPMS you will need to decide if you want them installed. The sensors themselves cost additonal. We will mount and balance and install the sensors. Blizzaks are one of the very best snow and ice tires so no problem there. They really are not very noisy. Let me know if I can help further.
