Well, you can still do the catch can and ported throttle body... maybe shorty headers too.

Suspension and gears! but as far as power mods, there are a few CARB legal S/C's. For bolt ons, you are limited to a Ported TB, Catch can and Shorty headers.

Best regards,

I apologize, I just noticed that you have a V6 LLT. There are currently no CARB legal shorties for the V6. if you had the V8 you could go with the ARH shorties.

Definitely get the catch can though DI engines really need them.

Best regards,

Tyler

The only shorties I know if for the V6 are from Doug Thorley and they are not CARB legal.

JBA has "shorty" headers that are carb legal in CA.
Look here- http://www.jbaheaders.com/detail_shortyV.asp?id=1816SJS

CARB EO # D-57-25
Check the installation instructions for confirmation- and the improvement in sound is due to improved flow (and performance).

so then these are really just for louder sound?
also do the JBA's have rust issues?

Stop debating. If you love your baby get a catch can. It should be the first thing on everyone's list. Then the Throttle body.

I could not live in Calif! You could come to Tennessee!

Anything without a CARB certification is not Comufornia legal.
