Yes, people have and it supposedly does not throw codes and does allow it to stay open all the time.

Doesn't track mode do that anyway? I thought it was said you can program it anyway you want even in different modes.

If you have an auto and pull the fuse it may sound like poop when the AFM kicks on.

The manual doesnt have AFM, so it shouldn't do that, but it may drone...

No this is incorrect. Pulling fuse 51 does not interfere with the afm valves further upstream. The afm valves still close in v4 mode making the car dead silent in v4 mode, even with the rear valves open

Humm, I wonder why they would have the exhaust close then. Must be a drone thing then...

I'm not quite sure. I was told it was to raise back pressure in v4 mode but maybe it's just to keep it quiet and from sounding bad? There's another fuse for those afm valves if you want to keep them open but it will set the SES light

We install the quads on my son's 2014 rs (paid close to 3k including new diffuser) the car don't have the electronic system to run the valves so they are open all the time but only the 2 outside pipe getting dirty

Yeah bc that's the path of least resistance. We are talking about the 2016 NPP system here, not 2014-2015

Pull fuse, put the Range in your OBDII port, valve is always open, and you will be on 8 cylinders all the time.
