Dyno compares my restricted numbers versus my unrestricted numbers. This was through the 6L80E. The only change since has been the RPM Level 7 4L6XE. At the time, Matt indicated that I may have the highest HP of any automatic through the 1500.

ET in Signature. No weight reduction. Car weighs 4,240 with me in it. 6 point cage, full interior including floor mats. LOL

It's great. Best part about it is nobody expects it. You get some kids thinking their hyped up STi of Evo is the shit until I pass their asses on the road.

If the pulleys aren't changed from what comes in the kit, restricted is ~10lbs., of boost. unrestricted is 15lbs.

15 Pounds normally, but with how much we are spinning my car we have seen 16 pounds at the top end. Restricted ~9-10 pounds.

Keep in mind that blowers don't really like thin air. So the higher you go in elevation, the more boost you will lose. When my car was on the dyno earlier this year, it hit 20 lbs. Since I live in a higher elevation, I lost about 3 lbs of boost. At that point I went down one pulley size and gained back what was lost. If I was ever to go back to sea level with the current pulley, it will show ~22 - 23.

I think the plate ECS gave me is too big. I make around 14psi with the plate in.

Guys running more than 15psi, you running stock intake manifolds?

So your tuner released your car back to you making 14 psi?

Go easy until it blows and he soaks you for a $20k motor. That's beyond ridiculous. If you didn't want 14 psi then you shouldn't have been allowed to leave.

Call another tuner ASAP.

There's also the fact that in your sig., you're putting less than 500 to the wheels. If you were running 14 lbs., you would be well into the 600-700 rwhp range. Is that still an accurate number, or has it changed?

Stock manifolds are fine. If your sig is correct, you should be making a lot more power even fully restricted. 14 PSI is basically like not having the restrictor in at all.

Car is an L99 with factory cats.
ECS kit customer installed.
Car was brought to me for a dyno tune, I found that it had too much boost and informed the customer.
Rev limiter was lowered and tuned to be plenty safe to drive normally.
I contacted ECS and they sent a new restrictor right away.
The restrictor is installed the car will be retuned on lower boost.

Ted.
