any1 read july's car and driver magazine?

well the 2010 mustang wins the 3way match up with the camaro ss and challenger r/t...and by quite a few points

i dont know how to post the article but i read it...if some1 else can post it up, plz do so...

Fine with me. Fewer people ordering the Camaro, making it easier for people who know better to get one.

BTW there's plenty of room for a little payola when comparos like this are mostly subjective assessments. Exhibit A is the BMW 3-series winning car of the year, year after year.

I agree. I stopped reading that mag when each month seemed like an infomercial for BMW. No matter how poorly they performed the subjective ratings always won out.

The nameplate makes the Stang win. That's what has been really selling the Stang for quite a few years now.

i read a motor trend article comparing the Mustang GT, Camaro SS, and the Challenger R/T and they gave the Camaro SS 1st place with the Mustang a close 2nd. I think the issue was June 2009

The car and driver comparison also listed the angry look of the camaro as a bad thing.....not to mention complaining about a lack of headroom in the back seat and the little trunk lid. I hope they realize that people interested in power aren't looking for backseat headroom and a trunk thats good for hauling lumber. After that review, I'm not sure I'll pick up another car and driver magazine.

Everyone has an opinion...and you can always tell the mustang guys from the challenger guys...the Camaro guys from the mustang guys...and the Challenger guys from the Camaro crowd. Its all a matter of opinion...just like it has been stated before...you ever notice how some mags seem slanted towards a certain car or brand..the writers of a mag are supposed to be neutral when testing out a car..most are not

Motor Trend, Jun 09 edition, page 32 has an article where they compared the three (Mustang GT, Challenger R/T, and Camaro SS) with results showing Camaro 1st, Mustang 2nd and Challenger last. The article was very informative and extensive. My thoughts are that your going to find magazines that vary on their opinions. I've always said that opinions are like AH's. Everybody has one but the bottom line is that $ for $, Camaro beats them all in performance and looks. Waiting patiently for my 2SS/RS, Victory Red, black interior, 6 SMT.

dont know what it beats it in. I saw the motortrend of the three and the camaro was best. I imagine on some things the mustang is better. I think i read in motortrend that the mustang wins in cornering when it has some track pack in it or something. But overall no way. Just by looking at the numbers the camaro wins and those done lie. You also got to looks at biased reveiws and were these mags paid off by companies, with all the hype the camaro is making i wouldnt find it out of reach to pay for some hype. To me I think motortrend is probably the most unbiased. Car and driver likes to feature imports, cross overs. very rarely have i have seen a car and driver that ranks anything with some muscle well or any american cars for that fact.

Also note that they say that the Camaro won in the quarter mile. I think their negative points are stupid. It's a sports car, who needs trunk room and such.

Just actually read it, garbage review. Did nothing but trash the challenger and camaro. Makes me think more that this review was paid.
