Why I'm smiling this afternoon...

I came out of COSTCO today & a young man (mid 20s) was taking a picture of my Camaro. He told me how beautiful it was. He had made my day until he preceded to tell me it wasn't fair that most people can't afford one until they're old. I smiled. We know that isn't true don't we 😉

Sigh.....

haha, Very true. If you really want one, age doesn't matter, save up, spend responsibly and you can surly own a Camaro at a young age. I do! without a penny worth of financial help from anybody.

um, a fully loaded SS (1LE) is the price of an "average" new vehicle in todays market. The only thing that sucks for someone under 25 for our cars in the insurance...then again, insurance will always be higher no matter what car is bought..

I don't mind young people with nice cars, but I can't stand young people that brag about their nice cars and house at a young age etc. Plenty of people work hard and are tight with their money and still can't afford a 30-40k car.

Camaro doesn't scream old man like a corvette tho lol

Cars have gotten too expensive. Most working people can't swing a $45K car.

Funny you mention that he thinks only old people can afford one. My history professor came into class the other day and complimented my car, he politely asked about how much I spent I told him 20k and he was shocked and said he may have to look into a camaro soon!
