I was leaning towards the Predator, mainly wanted to turn off AFM. A couple of local members already had the Vector, the more I spoke with them I new I would be getting the Vector instead, should arrive today.
As one of them said "The Stage 2 TCM tune is almost scary on the 1-2 shift at full throttle......". Will tune on Thursday 11th. I have Doug Thorley Shorties and SLP LM II axle backs installed.

Hopefully this isn't too dumb of a question but does the vector tune come with a device like the predator or is it a program that needs a laptop?

You will need a laptop which imo is a whole lot better. There is so much more you can do and tune on a laptop that you can't do on most handhelds. Not to mention laptop tunes are typically easier to read and work with.

Thanks for answering. Correct, a laptop can store as many calibrations as you could ever want. Also, you can read data from the scanner in a much larger format while you are recording data.

Class act that Diablo quietly ducked out of this thread...
I respect vendors that give a little space when needed.... No disrespect to Kirk either. Thanks for addressing all the questions... BTW... My Diablo Trinity is awesome |

i was leaning toward the trinity just cos i have the predator for my truck now and i love being able to pull over and changing pretty much whatever i want whenever i want, and after plugging the predator to the computer a couple of times and working with the software, i learned what to change to give me what i wanna....but idk this vector thing seems pretty cool too. my friend recomended a in person tune done by black bear performance so idk got a lot of options.
