Launch Control on L99?

I have read here and heard from another guy the L99 would have it. But does it really have it?

Does anybody know or possible Fbodfather let us know?

Thanks

the only cars with launch control are the manual SS models (LS3).

Me too! I do remember someone claiming the auto also had launch control. Not that it matters to me

I think its performance mode in the stabilitrak settings. Hold the brake and give a little gas and release brake for a controlled launch. I'll see if I can dig up a post.

heres that post...linkage

what? hold the brake to keep still, push the accelerator to reach desired launch rpm, and tap the trans into first? that sounds a lot like a good regular launch.

according to the dealer training vids, the traction control/stabilitrac system had 4 modes:
TC/SC on - that's the default
TC off, SC on
TC off, SC in sport mode (for track-style driving)
TC/SC off

yes. stabilitrac helps keep the car on the road around corners and such. launch control lets you mash the gas to the floor & it holds a set rpm until you drop the clutch in 1st. it's for more consistent launches with a manual
