Unhappy Almost rented a Camaro at Budget

My wife, our 7 yr old niece and I went to Portland Oregon last week. We rented a Buick Lucerene, asked about the Camaro, $130 a day . We finally got him down to $100 a day for a total of $700 plus taxes. We stayed with the Buick paid $355 out the door . They had about 2 dozen to chose from, red, silver, gray, black and a blue is all that I can remember. It was hard to see the true colors in the parking garage with the lighting. Most of them were V6 but I did see 2 V8's

We both tried everything to get it cheaper but he would not go any lower :(. If our stay was going to be a couple of days we would of paid the extra to get one . When we got in the Buick it had 4 miles on it, several Camaros still had the window sticker in them. They must of just got a delivery a few day earlier with so many new cars to rent.

Had to go to my local dealer today for some paperwork. Told our salesman about Budget having several Camaro to rent. He was suprised as they can barely get 1 Camaro in.

youre cheap! The memories alone would have been worth the extra $350!

Yes I am regretting not doing it but with the wife also in the decision making...................

The Lucerene was a very nice car, lots of room and very comfortable. The only thing that my wife and I noticed was the majority of the people that were driving these cars was older 60-80.

Thats because you are required to be retired to buy a Buick, it's in the manual.
