VS a hellcat
well not exactly, but I want one ... bad. instead of losing like 20k on my bolt on cammed 2011 L99 and then paying the 40k difference to get into a hellkitten. what could i do to my camaro to make it competitive with a hellcat? and i know itd cost less than paying the difference for one. just slap on a SC?
right now headers , exhaust, CAI, rough idle blower cam, wheels and radials. |

I would say any mod that will give you 625 to 650 rwhp.

Get the super charger it'll give you that extra boost (no pun intended) to walk the *****cat. frankly the stock ZL1 with a good driver can hang very close to a *****cat with less HP. Slap us on a road course and your current setup is fine though.

I guess it varies from each persons intended use, "typically" my buddies and I don't usually say hey let's see who can take this 90 degree turn the fastest lol it's mostly roll racing but don't get me wrong we do autox, drags, and road race (sparingly). This is why I'm so googoo over the hellcat despite its handling flaws

She's running mid 10's now. I haven't got to run my ZL1 yet with the new mods. Might be ready in one more week. The first link was my wife running against the new hellcat.

There are lots of 1.9 takeoff blowers from LSA's that are reasonably priced. They will easily make the power to walk a Hellcat. ADM sells a kit to fit the blower

Can 600+ hp be had without forced induction? I know it can be done.

I think a guy would need more displacement to make that power N/A. With the blower you can make that power and the car remain very street able as well
