KC Area Dealers: The_Blur Seeking Employment

In December, I will be graduating from college with a BA in Political Science. Throughout my college experience, I have worked hard, including taking a door-to-door commission sales position that worked me 72 hours every week for a summer, and I loved it. I'm good at sales and communicating with customers about their needs and learning quickly about a wide range of products to help them fulfill those needs with what I have available. It is that eagerness to develop my product knowledge and ability to communicate with anyone in person that makes me a great candidate for any sales job.

Now, I am seeking employment after my time at the University of Kansas. On this site, I have posted a lot of information about the fifth generation Camaro—its heritage, its potential, its components. You could call me a product expert. That makes me a prime candidate for employment in car sales, and with my previous sales experience, I can confidently earn salary plus commission in the competitive field of automotive sales.

This is not a cheaper way for me to get my Camaro. This is a career path for someone who is going to be a car enthusiast for life. I want to sell GM cars. Let me know if you are hiring or if you know someone who is hiring for a car sales job. I look forward to hearing from you.

Not the best time to get in the business and I wish you well. Try my sister store on Noland rd. (Cable Dahmer the largest Chevy dealer in Kansas City) or here at my dealership on stateline... City Chevrolet. Might be tough though as I stated and I know we are most likely down sizing right now, but don't give up!! Persistance is everything!

I'm aggressive and want to work with customers. I could be doing a lot of different things, but I'm confident in GM, myself, and the market returning. While cars are not the only thing I'm willing to sell, I think that this is a great time for a new, fresh salesperson to bring in new sales into my future place of employment. Ideally, I would like to make a lot of money in my field. That will require consumer confidence to return and for me to develop a trusting relationship with my customers. I am very confident that I will be successful in the area of sales regardless of the market.

I'll be in Kansas City today, as I've already sent in an email to City Chevrolet. Anyone else who wants to hire a salesperson should let me know so I can shake your hand and present you with a resumé.

All I know from my time living up in KC was that Morse Chevrolet in Overland Park sucks. I wasted half a day waiting for them to repair the passenger side power window on my '02 Cavalier and when it was finally "done", I didn't even get out of the parking lot before it quit working again. "Bring it back so we can fix it" sure,I'll waste another one of my days off. Thanks for nothing, jackass.

I ended up taking a customer service position for a company that connects students with schools in their career field. It's really great work.

I had been offered a variety of sales positions ranging from car sales to insurance sales. When you send out 600 applications between November and January, I guess a few of them are bound to bite. Anyway, I didn't take them because I had no money in the bank and couldn't afford to wait for a commission. I knew that my age would be a problem in car sales and insurance sales because most people won't believe that a 22-year-old is qualified to sell them expensive products.
