those speed3s can be serious little rockets, especially with those mods.

no need to be driving around town at 24... 14 is pushing it on cast block, with no forged internals. |

My brother-in-law has been running 22 psi on a GT32 for over a year, and it is his DD. If you have meth and it is tune right they seem to handle boost well. They go through high-pressure fuel pumps quickly though.

Good luck ever getting money out of any car. It doesn't only apply to 4 cylinder hatch backs lol

Doubt it, those smaller engines usually need a good amount of psi to make power, 14 is probably close to stock, which is probably around 12-13 I'd imagine. This is not like a camaro at 9psi, the volume in the camaro is much bigger, the volume in the little 2.4L engine is much smaller, it needs (and comes stock with) more psi that you'll see on a turbo LS3 or other "big" motor. Something like 13 was the stock for my wrx. I upped it to 15.
24 on the other hand...well yeah, that's gunna kill a stock motor quick. |

Except that it is a Garret gt3076r turbo. So yes, 24psi is A LOT for that car. 14PSI from the stock turbo is NOT 14psi on the Garret. I'm actually surprised his motor is in one piece. From what I heard, those motors really can't handle too much more boost without problems. |

I had a 2010 speed3 and they are fun but having to put an Audi fuel pump in it sucks. Plus they don't run well when temp changes a lot. When it was hot in Texas it was ok. But when it got cool there wasn't enough fuel available to make it run right. They do say zoom zoom boom for those cars! But hell why not boost seduced! They are really fun in the tight back roads. Just make sure ur going sort of straight before u get on it.
