You don't need to smog for six years , I have american racing 1-7/8 long tubes highflow cats x pipe 3 inch stainless and MBRP s/s mufflers. It sound excellent.I also have QTP cutouts with contrloller. Nothing like getting on freeway with those opened up. I did save everthing to put back on it will take me 1/2 day to do so. California does stink for emmissions laws. All the more reason to vote the right people in, in the first place.check out the association of california car clubs website they do alot to help keep us aware of new smog laws and help to fight for our rights.If enough of us get involved mabey we can take back alittle at a time.

Where in Cali are you? I'd like to see where set up the qtp cutouts. Before or after the cat?

I just moved out here from Texas... ADM CAI, LT's, no cats(tempted to look into a flame thrower kit)

, 3inch pipes, x-pipe, magnaflow bullets, tuned.. about to get either twin turbos or one of the superchargers...

Only problem.. cant get a sticker for base unless i can prove its smog legal... LMAO! Might just have to get a beater to drive to work.

Sorry but having 420hp 427ftlbs with bolt ons and a tune.. forget smog legal!

I just had mine come in about two weeks ago and threw it on. At this point it doesn't have a C.A.R.B. number for it so it isn't smog legal. Just keep your stock box and when it comes time to smog it throw the OEM stuff back on and your good.

I'm a bit of an environmentalist, and I see emissions equipment as a part of responsible hotrodding. That said, the LTH law and the OE cat law make no sense.

which base? point loma you don't need emissions unless the car is older than 4 years...
