Use TORCO to get up to 93 octane.

The dyno doesn't mean a lot, but the good thing is that you can get a larger lower pulley like a 9.17" or 9.55" and really enjoy the power. It would be in the 580rwhp range with a larger diameter lower pulley with 91 octane. I bet it feels great on the street so don't dwell on the #s so much!

Thanks for the input, and everyone else too. I need to manage my own expectations and be happy with the gains. The car does run a lot smoother with the tune. Next on the list is injectors and the driveshaft and call it a day, for now.

Thank you again for the feedback.

When you pulled 509rwhp on the dyno w/ the CAI, VMAX and TB, were you tuned or untuned?

Btw - my car severely chokes on 91. I'm going to guess theres a 10-15hp loss just from the gas. Sucks but that's the way it goes here in California

I think your power levels are right where you should be for the mods.

Enjoy it.

I'm also on 91 and stock right now, I'm getting ARH LT w/ HF cats, and Rotofab CAI w/ a custom 91 tune installed in a couple weeks. I'll let you know how mine goes for comparison sake. I expect to be at about 540rwhp.

What you should have done is take it to the track and do a few test runs "Pre-Mods" and see what it does, then add the Mods and next take it to the track "Post-Mods", see what it does and that will be your best gauge of what the Mods did, numbers don't always tell the final truth ....... Just a word of advice ....

I was going to say to get bigger injectors...at 98% your really past max. You can keep turning them up, but what I found on the Dyno when I put a 9.55 lower on and kept the stock injectors, I did not gain anything past 90%. Make sure to check your fuel pressure at WOT and check your IAT2 numbers....You should be okay with just the mods you stated, but its better to be safe then sorry. If your IAT2 gets to high, your car will pull timing, thus resulting in lower HP numbers. I have found out that reading a mfg. claim on what their product makes and what it does in the real world are 2 different things. Very rarely have I been "Happy" about the end result. If you start modding and don't get the supporting mods, then its not going to preform the way your wanting.

try doing the adjustment to the supercharger blow-by stop screw and you will pick up another 2-3 lbs of boost. its a 10 minute adjustment and very easy to do, easiest 3 lbs of additional boost you will ever get.

here is the link to the direction on how to do it.

I have a 13 manual with just a 10 percent lower, id850 injectors, Rotofab intake, ati damper, and custom 93 tune. Stock exhaust/manifolds. My best pull on the dyno was 587 whp/ 568 rtq. I would say your number are low in my opinion.
On another hand conditions and dynos all vary but I still think your considerably low.
I think the 91 octane is definitely one of your problems.

I was expecting around your numbers or slightly less. I wish they had 93 in California. I don't want to tune with Torco or any other octane boosters. I did however order the ID850's and Gforce is making a rear adapter for my Al one piece driveshaft. Then get both installed and a re-tune.

I would need to know much more, but my guess is you have a conservative tune with less timing than is required to get the bigger numbers. But with your injectors at 98%, again just guessing, the tuner did the safe thing and held back timing. You should know that when the engine gets hot and is running a more aggressive tune, that extra HP fades away quickly as the knock sensors chime in and the timing goes away. Talk to your tuner and find out.

I'm at 540 with LT Headers, cat delete, D3PE Heat Exchanger, K&N CAI and a tune for 93 Octane. I am however pretty damn close to sealevel being just off the coast. I have the big gulp as well but I don't think that makes much of a difference while on the dyno since the engine is all opened up.

Good luck and do keep us posted on the new numbers. I think the id850's will help a bit. One thing is certain the higher the octane the more power and not having 93 would definitely suck. Hope to see you in the low 570's at least ...

Don't worry about your numbers...your shorty headers will need solo hi flow cats to make them work. Take your car for a run....if you can really feel the difference then your good. Take it to the track....people here are number readers....track tested is far better the garage tested.

565/575 with metco 2.5 and HD isolater, FIC 1000cc injectors and a rotofab intake on 93. sounds like you could really use injectors.

Anything with less than 600 hp feels like the e-brake is on.
