You have to peel the tape away while it is still wet or it will come up a bit ragged. Doing the whole car or whole panels that have breaks is much easier than taping off stripes. There is an art to getting the tape off at the right time but when done right it looks fantastic!

Exactly!!!

I wonder if there is any concern of this stuff baking into the car paint over a long period of time. I can see the temporary effect and the ease of removing but I wonder how it would be over an extended period of time especially in a hot/cold environment.

The hate on this site sometimes.

If you believe that 99% can't tell the difference then why did you change to a ZL1 fascia? To most people it will look like a normal Camaro... right? For that matter why mod the car at all?

If your reason is because you like the changes and enjoy customizing..... then a little less hate on this guy for plastic dipping his car.

PlastDip'd my Forgestar wheels a few weeks ago. Wanted to see if I liked them colored black before I had them powder coated. Wheels turned out awesome! Cost me about $60 ( 6 cans of Dip, 1 can Glossifier) and 5 hours of my time. Should last a year or so...then I'll powder coat. .
