Helmets
Last time I was at the track I was told I couldn't run anymore because I didn't have a helmet. I've been wanting to buy one since I plan to use for Strip and Track events....Wasn't sure what to buy, so I bought a G-Force Pro Phenom SA2010 Helmet, in black, I guess this will work??

Works for AutoCross and HPDE events. Don't know about the drag strip.

Make sure to try on the helmet in the car before you get to the track and look like a fool like I did in the staging lanes because the seat was too high and my head hit the roof...

I have the same helmet, and I used it for a HPDE. no problem, however my instructor told me that he doesn't prefer open helmets like this. In case of an accident, your chin, jawbones will be unprotected.

Have to agree with having a full face helmet, Why take the chance of smashing your chin or jaw bones.

I brought my helmet with me when I test drove the car. I wonder if that tipped the saleshole off?

Also, make sure it is DOT & Snell approved. Some events require certain certifications.
