Getting Ready For My 2SS/RS, RJT

I have been sitting at 3000 for almost four weeks so I had the garage repainted, including the floor. Since I am a batchlor I had the garage finished to match my recently remodled master bedroom and bath! The new Camaro will be parked next to my black 1996 Impala SS. So now my 2004 Silverado 2500 HD Duramax will be forced to sit out in the weather.

What kind and what brand name of paint did you use? I'd like to do the same to my garage.

I have not taken any pics yet...I will try to get some and post soon. I am working on a collection of banners and posters for the walls. My contractor used Farrell-Calhoun paint on the walls & ceilling and Devoe Epoxy on the floor. The colors are in two shades of light gray. The ceilling and trim is a semigloss, so light it is almost off white in color. The walls are satin light gray and the floor was color matched the same color. Also upgraded the lighting. Installed six new flourescent fixtures with 5000K lamps...I can see again! That will make it nice for working, polishing, etc. when the weather is bad.

I moved to 3300 last week, so I spent the afternoon at Futral Motorsports ordering all the parts for the LS3-427 build. So here goes:

This car will be a daily, fair weather driver. She will make a few trips to the drag strip and go to lots of shows in the Baton Rouge - New Orleans area.

Moved to 3400 this week, still no vin# yet. Heads are at Meaux Raceing in Abeville, LA being ported & polished by Larry Meaux himself.

I can only bet how awesome this beast is going to be on the street. Tame at idle, but a M-O-N-S-T-E-R at WOT!! Very nice.
Will it be running on pump gas? I assume so, what octane as well?
