Dealer has a Black one for Sale

Hey ,

My dealer has a Black Z28 for sale. They tried to auction it off in a closed bid auction last night and did not even get a serious bid. So now it is for sale, setting in the show room.

I thought GM said all these were spoken for like they were sold cars to customers. I'll keep my ZL1 thank you! LOL

Dealers offering their Z/28 allocations at MSRP are selling cars (and do not go by the cars.com posted price until you call the dealer.) Dealers with markups are waiting for someone with more money than sense. As we know, there are no shortage of such folks.

With over MSRP and a list of restricted parts making it very hard down the road to get parts it will sit like an egg at most dealers. Any dealer with over MSRP has to be using it just as a marketing ploy or they must really think the second coming is going to happen.

With next gen on the horizon, a new GT350 coming and the hellcat is just around the corner very few that will find the z/28 worth the cost.

Lordy will you STOP that. No, there are NOT 108 cars for sale on Cars.Com.

Notice some are 2015's even. WTF? There are no 2015's in the wild.

My car (#384) is listed for sale on Cars, and I imagine all the other ordered cars are too. They are not for sale.

There are only about 250 Z/28's that have been delivered to dealers.

+1. My car was listed on cars.com through yesterday, but they dealer knew it was my car. But because I could change my mind, etc., I suppose they keep "sold" cars posted until the transaction is official. I don't have a problem with that, but cars.com raw numbers cannot be peddled as absolute fact.
