THANK YOU!

Thanks for the pump info & pics!!!
At least now I have an idea of where to start.

Question: You mentioned that you had to leave the stock pump ... Whay cant you use TWO GTSupercar pumps and replace the stock pump? Is it a signal issue to the FPCM &/or ECM?

My goal is to make as close to 4 figures at the tires as I can. I have everything in place except the fuel system.

BTW ... Your project is bada$$ for sure. It must have felt great to leave that 10.70 car in the rear view mirror

Thanks for taking the initiative to go where no man has gone before (in a brand new car no less) and the balls to push the envelope to its limits (and share your findings)

The stock pump has a small 1/8th inch line that comes off it. That line draws fuel from the drivers side fuel tank and I havn't found another pump with that. If you wanna make that much power you should consider doing a large or 2 large external pumps. You actually use your stock pump with no pressure to feed a 2-3gal fuel cell in the trunk at 0 pressure. Than run pumps off that cell to feed the car. You would need a pressure regulator and some other stuff. That is what I will do once the LSX goes in with my F1.

PSCA is in town. I'm going to make some passes tomorrow. I hope the stock clutch holds up. Im gonna try and not do a burn out and not power shift to keep it alive.

Well I wish I had some track times for everyone. Made one shake down pass to see how the car worked. Wasn't to bad had a little wheel hope and when I shifted into 4th the fpcm threw a check engine light and it went into limp mode. Shut some things off in the tune to try a second pass and went to do a burn out and broke the drive shaft. I already have hendrix Engineering axles so I guess I will have to man up and buy the drive shaft.

WOW! broke the driveshaft huh? ... guess I'll order one now and save face on the track later. I just ordered the Hendrix shafts Friday. He's a good guy for sure!!!

I'd be interested in the incrimentals from the limp mode pass. Heck, it was probably on a mission until it shut down. Maybe give us some 1/8 mile info???

I will sell you some Hendrix Shafts if you want them. If you want them pm me and I will send them out monday. Iam putting the 4# pully back on and letting my wife drive it to work. I have enough race cars and I am sick of throwing money at a turd.

I'm using snow performance 2 stage.

You will have to have alot of money to make this car work with 600hp. My goal was 900 and the LS motors are the best thing in the world but Chevy drive train blows. My stock mustang motor and drive train made over 900 and went 9.50's and still hasn't broke.
