new tires

Hey fellas

couple of questions-

1) what have you put on your cars as replacement tires?

2) who do you recommend?

3) I would like a little wider in the rear!
any suggestions?

thanks

BOB

If you go wider than the 275's but stay with Pirellis prepare to pay! That's my only advice. When I replace the rears (soon ) I'll be sticking with the 275s for my every day street driving.

I just replaced the rears yesterday at 45,000 KM & tomorrow the fronts...

I put 305 pirelli's on the rear, and moved the 275's up to the front.
Had to get bigger wheels as well. For some reason the rears just keep spinning.

Go there

The location I use is in Mississauga, it is located on Stanfield Road. The intersection is Dundas, and Stanfield.

Fun fact: They are the ONLY ''official'' Canadian retailer for Nitto
- My camaro's hi-flow cats are aprx. 3 - 4 fingers off the ground. They have special bays specifical for cars like ours
- The gentleman I deal with is Brock, and they are extremely professional and walk you through everything they are doing while they are doing it (You CAN stay back there while they do your swap).
- They will allow you to drive your OWN car into the bay, and out of the bay; excellent piece of mind.

These are the guys to goto when looking at getting new tires. I will not go anywhere else.

I just ordered new fronts, and my rears are NT05's... All through them, and fantastic experience.

Again, the gentleman's name I deal with is Brock.

I drive from Brampton, my car is VERY low, 1.25" include 3 fingers from the pavement hi-flow cats. My advice; goto these guys... period.

As a sidenote, everyone who has seen my car knows that I only go where I 'trust' the location, and the people.
For all things performance, tuning, well pretty much everything - SPi in Oakville. How many shops do you know have their OWN 2010 Camaro decked out like no ones business, and has the history and professionalism these guys do.

As far as tires go; everyone has to order them in from the states (EXPENSIVE), BUT if you goto KalTyre they are the official canadian retailer for Nitto, and the prices are first rate.

Your decision ultimately, but I'm telling ya now - the two posted preferences above are where YOU want to go.
