Next big date?

Alright Ladies and Gentlemen. It's January. What's next, we've seen two letters come out. So what's next? What's the next step. I know that 2/16/2009 is supposed to be the beginning of production. Is that the next big date we are all waiting for? When I ordered my IOM 2SS/RS back on 10/15 I was given a workbench number and I thought somebody was saying that we would be able to log into website to start to check the status of our order. I know that the "2nd" letter had a website listed on it. Is this the same website that we will use to track our orders? On 2/16 are we going to start getting calls from our dealers to let us know when it's coming.....WHAT'S THE NEXT BIG DATE?

The suspense is killing me!!

Well the IDL this week and the first consensus are the two next critical points. That consensus is especially important as that should give us some idea how long it is going to take them to build the 10,000 cars.

Well you can only log on ONCE to the website with your code from the 2nd letter (wtf?!?!). So, I doubt that'll be used to track your car. 1-9 is the IDL which should have answers to lots of questions. I know the resident dealers will be asking questions so hopefully we'll know more about ABL and the other stuff we don't know about.

Good point WOOT.....

Folks, if you have any questions that you'd like to get answers to, make sure that you get them to a dealer. The dealers are allowed to post up questions to be answered in the IDL. GM can choose to answer or not answer but if they get enough questions on a particular topic, I'd think they would be more likely than not to address it.

Janurary 12th.

The date GM needs the Cadence tooling, or production could be delayed.

As soon as anyone hears about the Cadence deal, post it up.
