$1500 is alot more than "some money." $4000 is way over priced especially since they have 6k miles AND they are damaged(repaired or not). my offer of $2500 still stands for the future

I guess I'm a bit confused. What difference does it make what the OP paid and what the OP wants? Is there some written rule somewhere that says something that is purchased cannot be sold for more? Are they worth 4K, no, but they are worth what someone is willing to pay for them. I'm guessing if someone offered you 60% more then you paid for your car you'd take it.

I think the point is it was rather rude to "laugh off" an otherwise acceptable offer considering the condition of the wheels and the price OP bought them for.
