OMG Becky - you Have to watch this video of the Camaro Convertible commercial from the end of the Super Bowl. It's Awesome. The music totally rocks, the convertible is So Hot (dang I wish I could have gotten the red leather upholstery!!) - and the video is dedicated to You!!



You have done so much hard work to go above and beyond what's expected to help so many people here on the forum who desperately want to know the status of their car. We are so grateful.

Oh, I forgot to post pics when I got my Amazing, fantastic 2011 Camaro 2SS/RS, so here they are 6 weeks late. Note custom paint job with black hood, truck & gill stripes; fairly subtle tribal stripes on sides; and tribal ghost stripes in hood stripes. I also upgraded to the new Borla Atack exhaust so it sounds as hot as it looks. Woo Hoo !!

No, but it isn't backward movement either; so it could be worse.

I originally had a 2/21 TPW but got pushed to 3/7...probably due to all these snotty convertible people......I kid, I kid......Congrats to all the convertible orders/owners. I would have probably gotten one if I could have justified it.

Anyway, I was just checking in to make sure it didn't slip again. Oh well, more time for saving that down payment I guess.

You'll probably hear this response a lot to that question, "It depends on your dealer's allocation."

I would say that the average wait at this point in the 5th Gen's life cycle is probably 8-10 weeks. I ordered mine in mid-January and it's scheduled to be built the week of March 7. There are many factors, but I would guess around that time frame.

I ordered mine in mid-January also, but there was a dealer slip-up and the order didn't actually go in 'til last weekend.

Your order is 1100 status right now, but the dealer doesn't have
to have allocation to place a coupe order. Convertible is different
story. I would expect your order to cycle into the system in the
next few days and then it's a waiting game to see when it will be
built. I would expect an early March timeframe for production.
Congrats on your order and don't be a stranger. If you have any
questions, don't hesitate. If I don't answer it, there's lot's of very
educated folks here that will.

02/05/2011 - (3300) Order Scheduled for Production Order is scheduled into the plant build cycle
