Exclamation REGISTRATION: Important Note!

Attention All:

This was a concern that came up a few days ago, and although we changed the wording of the signup list...I'm not sure we addressed it thoroughly enough.

If you've already registered as a "DRIVER" in the official registration thread, it is assumed that you will be participating in either the drag racing or auto cross (or both) at the event.

If this is incorrect because we weren't clear enough regarding what we were looking for - please post in the registration thread with a note indicating your correction!

We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause, and we appreciate your understanding. We're using this list to help us accurately plan for the event and your demand for certain attractions, so we need it to be as accurate as possible.

Thank you!!

(By the way...the registered numbers so far are OUTSTANDING! And we couldn't be more excited about planning the rest of the event for everyone to enjoy!! )

We're hoping to highlight those willing to showcase their "unique" auto-related skills at the event. Last year we had a bit of drifting the final day.

And also...just in general showing off on the strip/track!

I was there and saw the Hankook car drifting on the back side of the autocross track that was a blast to watch

I don't know, between the burnouts and the launch, drag racing is pretty rough on the tires and suspension. Oh, did I forget the rear end gears????

Heck...if an Impala could do what I felt it do...our Camaro's should have no problems...they were built for it, after all!

I flogged a rental Impala two and a half days at CamaroFEST II. Rob Anderson of Wretched Motorsports did the same in a rental Camaro. We both took passengers out on the course repeatedly. As long as you have 50% or more of the original brake pad material and do routine maintenance on your car you can enjoy the CamaroFEST III autocross.

What is autocross? The most fun you can have with your clothes on!
