What does it feel like to have the car lift up like that while your in it?
Uhhh it's kinda surreal... you can't really prepare yourself for it I guess. You can tell based on how fast the view of the track disappears that it's going up high..... Once you're up there and it's pulling you just gotta stay calm and shift so it comes down soft.... and hope that it's still going straight when you come down....

the steering wheel gets VERY light so turning the wheel doesn't do jack...

LOL..... Of course.... but everyone with LSx's always assumes that LT1's are wheel and tire jobs that are all show and no go....

I set out to prove that wrong a few years ago. And this is the result of all that work... I just rib my wife cause she knows her car is new and everyone jocks it...

you're probably talking about Mike Jakes in Iowa???? yeah he was the first LT1 in the 8's on spray.... quite a feat.. we're shooting to be the third to do it and the 2nd to do it with fuel injection... (Mike's is carbuerated...)

there's a guy from colorado Joey Kenville who has the power to do it as well right now with a white 30th anniversary edition but the altitude of his track is what's killing him... he went 9.04 at like 5000'!!!!!
