Beefed up drive train on 1LE?

I am on my way out to (hopefully) swing a deal on a black 2013 2SS/RS 1LE. I have been reading about the 1LE since 5:45am this morning. I know it has "beefed up" axles, and I think a beefier transmission than an SS. Is the drive shaft the same as the SS? I'm asking because I have a red Magnuson supercharger sitting in the spare bedroom waiting to be installed. Since I bought the supercharger, the concern for snapping an axle or the drive shaft has been in the back of my mind. If those are more heavy duty in the 1LE, I am vibrating with excitement over the thought of driving it supercharged!!!

BTW I can not believe the different/better features on the '13 1LE vs my 2010 SS! The 1LE sounds incredible ( I don't mean the exhaust, but I can imagine it sounds killer with the NPP and exhaust commander)

Same driveshaft, same tranny just different ratio...There are several supercharged 1LE's on this forum...SUKXOST for example

Not exactly... the Tremec used in the 1LE performance package also has some cooling as well as different gearing.

The only part of the 1LE axle that is "beefier" is the outer CV joint. Everything else including splines on both ends are the same. The diameter of the shafts the same. If you're SC-ing, I wouldn't get too excited that these will hold up much better than the stock SS. Avoid hard launches. I posted a thread with a picture showing the difference in size of the two axles' CVs. If you're interested just search for it.

Isn't the transmission the same as in the Z06?

No idea LOL...

but:

"Tremec TR6060-MM6 six-speed manual transmission. Combined with a numerically higher 3.91 final-drive ratio, the close-ratio gearing of the transmission is updated for road-racing performance. As with the ZL1, the 1LE transmission capabilities a standard air-to-liquid cooling system for track use."

The link above shows all the specs on the 1LE tranny which is the same as the Z06. Hmmm interesting I did not know that.

No it doesn't. The engine oil cooler is standard but the standard manual trans on the SS does not have a liquid to liquid cooler like the 1LE.

Right...

"The Tremec TR6060-MM6 short-throw six-speed manual employs a sportier 3.91:1 final drive rather than the normal 3.45:1. Like in the ZL1, crisp shifts are had row after row, thanks to an air-to-liquid cooling system."
