...all this good stuff is gonna keep us busy here for some time. Maybe the end result of this information will be at the Detroit Auto Show next month as one of the big releases scheduled.

I have a feeling the LS7 is for the COPO Camaro. Although a Z28 would be awesome.

The COPO 427 is not the LS7. It's an iron block LSX variety.

Why? Ever see the price of anything with an LS7?
You got a great car, great engine, at a quite reasonable price with an LS3 ss. I bought a few Z06's back in the C5 day. Awesome car, great LS6 engine.... then the C6 Z06 came out with the Ls7 and the price shot through the roof. No more Z06s for me after that. I wish they'd do a 427, wet sump, non titanium, cam'd with a tq range for the heavier Camaro, priced below the ZL1. Without the titanium, the rev limit would have to come down a bit, but for an affordable price - I'd love a 427 Camaro. |

I'd consider trading my LS3 for an LS7 powered Camaro
One small request... can they put some 427 badges on it. I think that would be pretty cool |

Te COPO is not a production car. It is a crate motor that ships in a Camaro.

I love how I posted a thread about this about 2-3 months ago and everyone called me a liar and said I didn't know what I was talking about.

These motors are still used in a lot of race cars. Just because the vette doesn't have it doesn't mean it won't be in a camaro. If anything we have seen a lot of x vette motors in camaros. Lt4?
