I just got a new HJC helmet for drag racing, and I also wear glasses. Glasses are a pain, but without them the tree would look blurry.

Get a pair just for racing

I have found the easiest eyeglasses to fit are metal ones with thin bows, and make sure the front is not wide. The bows should easily slide onto your face with the helmet on. Some helmets have a wider opening than others, so if you can try on some different models, do that. I use the metal frames for all purposes, but if you want something else for daily use, just keep a set for racing.

I have a helmet with narrow eye openings and I found it easiest to get glasses with straight ear pieces... They slide right in...

I picked up a Zamp helmet from here: http://www.saferacer.com/zamp-racing...-racing-helmet

Not the most fancy, but meets specs. The tend to run a bit small, but Safe Racer exchanged mine with no hassles. Works great with my glasses.

I'm going to hijack my own thread just a bit.... What are the considerations regarding full-face vs open face helmets. Any experiences with either?

Here' what I have done. Went to my local Cycle Gear store, picked out all the helmets that met SCCA spec and my budget and tried them on one at a time. 5 helmets later and I found the best one in a Bell.
