My bubble is growing bigger.......seems to be directly related to the sun and heat. Taking her in on Friday for that, the stick shift knob is kind of loose and to have the continuing 'vert top rub marks looked at again.

Mine had a bubble form directly center above the radio stack about a month ago. Maybe 1500 miles on the clock. I read about it before hand on here. I'm not even going to waste my time going to the dealer for a part that will fail again in short order. At least not until there is a real solution.

I have since religiously started putting a sunshade in my windshield if I'm parking for more than a half hour and my windows are tinted 20%. That should help cut down on the UV and heat damage to the interior.

Dealership tried to order this part (for the second time also) and then informed me that the part is backordered (thinking because everyone is now noticing this problem since it is summer time). Who knows when I will be able to get this fixed.....

Well, had it in on Friday, they are ordering a new dash and shifter (manual knob is a little loose) Service manager said he saw this on some of the trucks, but mine was the first Camaro he saw with this bubble.

I am sorry for any type of delay you are experiencing. If you could send me any details, I could definitely look into this and check it out. I look forward to your response.

well got the dash insert replaced on monday, and it is already bubbled up like crazy. I am getting sick of this. Just rediculous. Time to get GM involved! On the phone with them as I type this!

Like rust, bubbles never sleep.
It was 112* inside the car Wednesday when I started it up.
That's with a windshield sun shade.

Personally, I think those "shades" superheat the windshield by reflecting the sun back through the glass. Why? Because my Inspection stickers soften, come unglued, and fall off the glass. Only in the Summer.

Wow, only lasted 3 days at most before it started to go bad? That's just terrible. So far my replacement only has one small bubble in the center. But after hearing this, I'm not going to bother getting it replaced unless GM comes up with an actual solution. Please keep us posted.

Just noticed the issue today on my 2012, large bubble directly above the center of the radio, kind of "pops" when I push down on it. It has been sitting outside at work for the past week in 100+ deg temperatures, didn't notice it before this heat wave.

welcome to the bubble club. it is a pain in the ass, and there isnt any real fix as of now other than just replacing it over and over
