Ah yes ... Friday night ... drive-in night

Probably be the last one for the winter. Starting to get cold here after that big fire in the sky goes away.

It's almost like a big car show cause all the vintage cars are there ... '57 Chevy's ... old muscle cars ... etc ... etc ... It's great fun.

Before and between features we wander around and look at the other cars. I always have a group around my G5.

The Newberg drive-in (google map view) is about the last one on the west coast as far as I have heard. Anyone else have them in town?

Sounds cool, I believe there is a drive-in somewhere in North Texas, I've never been myself but I've heard about it.

Technically the Sonic chain qualifies as a "Drive-In", but somehow it doesn't seem the same.

I actually remember the 60's, despite the saying, "If you say you remember the 60's you weren't actually there"

This drive-in is the type that shows movies. We had the other kind of drive-in here called Tick Tok (we also have Sonic now).

We do seem to hear alot of coughing at these drive-in meets. I suspect something is going on but not sure what.

Did I say that out loud?

There is another on in the Willamette Valley down in Dallas Oregon called the Moto-Vu Drive In. I don't know if they are finsihed for the season though, but they are still operating during the summer.
