Pioneer Camaro on eBay?

Just came across this car on ebay. I am just wondering how they paid $55k for a stock SS from a dealer?? It is a nice ride tho.

For something they put "$155,000" into, sure looks like way more could've been done.

The money is in what you don't see. 1,000 man hours of time for example. Then the stereo gear is insanely expensive. What I don't get is the 55k price they paid at the dealer unless the car is supercharged, which doesn't appear to be the case.

They could have bought it when they first came out and paid a huge dealer markup. It would have all been a write-off anyways, so the sticker wouldn't have mattered to them.

And 1000 hours @ what do you think? $70 an hour shop rate? So about $70,000 in labour, plus all the stereo stuff and wheels, not that far out of line.

Of course, nobody with a brain is gonna pay anywhere near that

I saw that this morning as well, and that's the first thing I said too....$55K from the dealer?? They added rims, tires, springs & exhaust, besides the stereo system...That's a helluva mark up!

It's a nice car, but for that price I'd rather get the Apline Camaro.
