i my case, with the whipple, the vent touched the blower a little bit far from the throttle body

No... The clearance issues ( I am told ) is without the cover... I have yet to pick up the car, so I don't know first hand.... It just got off the Dyno today... I will pick it up Sunday.

Does anyone know if the lsa cover fits on the 2012 SS/Lsa conversion?

I pick up the car Sunday. My ss1 cam releases alt of pressure so he had to go to the 2.5" pulley to get to 10lbs of boost.
565 hp and 549 ft-lbs
Stuck with a 91 octane tune as that is all that is available in the Tulsa area.

Guys it is close the vent fit with about 1/4" clearance... I put in a rubber washer on the back of the vent to eliminate a small paint rub, and gain a little clearance. I cut a small section out of the drip tray and put it back on... pictures soon, it has been a long day... 9 hours of driving today to go get the car...

The BMR mounts would give perfect clearance The drip tray would still need to be trimmed but the trimming only affects the rear vents.

Pics please ! Can't wait to see it. Is this without the engine cover on or with ? Im currently deciding what to do while I finish installing my lsa.

Here is a better picture of the vent.

It has the same clearance as the factory ( I set both of them on the hood ) - both very tight on the coolant lines.

Thanks for the pics. Thats a nice looking insert. Is that the stock one dipped ? I wonder if with the BMR mounts I could get the cover to fit. I was thinking of shortening the cover ball mounts as much as the cover allows until its sitting on the coolant lines in the front.

the vent was an actual CF from G5R - I believe "Anderson Composites"

With the motor mounts you may have 1/2" total clearance... I don't have a cover to test to see how much space there is. I too would like to know as I think a cover would help complete things.
