MPG figures released for 11 F-150 released (except ecoboost)
http://www.autoblog.com/2010/10/14/2...-up-to-23-mpg/
23 MPG for the 3.7 V6 and 21 MP for the 5.0 is pretty good. 17 MPG HWY for the 6.2, not so much. |

The new avalanche gets 21 with the 5.3 so it's right on par. For me 2 mpg isn't worth the power loss of a V6. The eco-bosst I would imagine might be right between them at 22.

The rumors for the ecoboost, and let me emphasize rumors, are 23-24mpg out of the TT3.5.

also the power figures aren't on par with the 5.0L, witch is the engine it competes with. The 3.7L will compete with the 4.3L and 4.8L, the 3.7L outclasses the v6 and competes well with the 4.8L on power and FE. the 6.2L and 3.5L should compete well with the 6.2L, i also expect the 3.6L to be rated at 22mpg. |
