On a side note, the Audi R8 won the World Performance Car of the Year, but the 370z made it in the final five. I am surprised that the Camaro did not even get consideration for high performance. The Speed3, Evo and the Z4 made it in the final 10 but again no Camaro.

Yeah, is this not an April fools joke?? I mean its great the Camaro won, but I almost feel offended someone can say the Kia Soul was a finalist in the same award a Camaro won

It was always my personal thought that if anything desirved an award like this, nothing short of the Camaro could desirve it, at least not this year, in a world full of bland generic plastic econo-boxes, the Camaro preserves that American spunk in all of us, and says "hey, the world might not be exactly what we want it to be, but we should at least have fun with it while we're here"

This is a great leap for the Camaro, but i believe this is an even greater victory for muscle-car kind in general. Finally our beloveds are world-class performers again!
