Only reason I wrote downgrade was due to some of the aesthetic and accessories not associated with the 1LE. So then i should just lose the 2SS and upgrade to the 1LE

While you might be "downgrading" because it's not a special anniversary package, on the mechanical side of the 1LE it's a complete upgrade. If you have the money and are willing to part with your car, I'd say go for it. But if you want to use the 1LE as a daily driver, I'd say stick with the 45th SS. All up to what you want to do with it.

Will you be tracking the car? If not, then keep the 2SS. You can also upgrade the suspension on the 2SS.

If your pockets are deep enough anything can be done to the 2SS. But I agree that it's not an upgrade or downgrade, they are two different cars completely. It's like comparing apples and oranges, only a lot more expensive.

Here's a thread you might want to follow if you want to upgrade your car yourself close to what the 1LE package offers:

I also have a 45th. Don't swap cars, man.

1) It makes no financial sense to swap after a year or less of ownership, you will lose your ass or at least your down payment plus a little more. That's called having more dollars than sense. The 1LE is tempting you because it's the "new thing." Next year, something else will be.

2) As mentioned, all the upgrades are available, I intend to do several of them to mine.

3) You have a unique, one year only version of the Camaro. Is it worth more? No. Does it look a little different with a nice paint job, etc? Sure it does. The 1LE is just another Camaro with a hood wrap and different gears and tweaked suspension.

In the end, it's your choice, you don't have to ask or justify. Your car, your money, etc. I think though, you will find it will be cheaper to add 1LE parts to your 45th than you will lose swapping cars.

Now if you had no Camaro and wanted 45th or 1LE, I would say 1LE all the way. But you don't and there is nothing wrong with your car and it's upgradeable.

We have this issue all the time in the camera world. Some new 5000 dollar camera body comes out and suddenly the 5000 dollar camera you bought 6 months ago SUCKS. lol. No it doesn't.

Applies to pretty much any "toy". ie: home theater hardware, computer parts, cell phones, etc.

It's not often that someone buys a new toy because it actually has a new feature that you NEED.
