For a dark car I say you can't beat Zaino Z5, and I use Collinite 845 over winter, a bit more durable.

Not to hijack this thread, are most of the waxes listed a haze forming type? Like I said, the Mequires one i use doenst really haze, just seems to be wipe on, let dry, but it still looks wet. Are Adams waxes that way?

Want a cheap wipe on wipe off wax that is good? Try DP Max Wax over at AG. Don't have to let it haze, just wipe it on and you guessed it wipe it off

To be fair, he specifically asked for it to NOT be AMERICANA, so I felt my offer of free Buttery was ok.

That's why I didn't quote you sir. I agree your suggestion was valid for the thread, although I don't think the buttery wax serves much purpose.

Thanks for all the non Adams replies. I did go for the Blackfire for $30 less, and will give an update when I tackle this project in the future. I just hit 10k on my car which is 6 months old, so a nice clay, wax and sealant is probably in order. No major or noticeable swirls as of yet, so no corrections were needed. And by the way the sealant is Adams Quick Sealant, so fear not army aficionados.

Maybe when my business picks up, I will splurge for the Americana.

I am so glad the OP mentioned the Autogeek sale today! After a month of trying to decide on what wax and sealant I was going to get, I pulled the trigger and ordered the "Blackfire Wet Diamond Wax Kit."

I got a great deal with 15% off and free shipping!

I like Meguiars Mirror glaze #26 yellow wax, it goes on and off super easy and lasts 4-7 weeks, and love the look after a fresh wax.

what I don't understand about quite a few of the vendors on this forum and Adams is one of course. Why they do not look into sending postal service to Hawaii instead of the other methods they use. it is very hard for me to purchase something when does shipping is about the same as the purchase price.

before everyone jumps on my post, yes I do realize I have a distributor here on my island which I have purchased from but will never again due to my feelings of his attitude.
