Need bushings
Need rear lower control arm bushings. Jegs summit and BMR are all out of stock and will be weeks before they get anymore.
Anyone have any in stock?

The stock ones are soft. The car is on a 15 now using a modified stock lower control arm

The rear inner bushing is not soft. Replacing it with urethane and a free spinning ferule will reduce the spring rate. Tell me what you are trying to accomplish with your suspension changes and I can tell you if that would be a good or bad thing.

Do you need more or less squat in the rear?
Weight transfer is good? RWHP? Rear Tires? |

Does is bounce hard off the bumpstops when you launch using 600, or does she squat and stay done? Any video from the side of the car at launch? |

No videos. Mainly do things "off the track".
My wear pattern is a little off. My guy that does my alignment says the bushings could be flexing causing the issue. Those and the upper inner bushings are the only stock ones in the car left. I'm changing the upper control arms now but I no one has the lowers in stock

The Z/28 upper outer bushings will increase the stability of the IRS, a good move. The only reason to change out the lower inner is to loosen the arm, allow freer movement like a monoball. Press one out and cut it in half. You will find there is a thin layer of dense rubber over a thick steel fertile with a steel outer jacket. It is a stout bushing.
What issue are you trying to correct? |
