The lights your are talking about came on just about any 67-69 camaro with the RS option. (not just the Z28)

Actually the '69 Z/28 with the RS option had the hidden headlights too. I used to have an all original one so I know this for sure.

Sorry, good idea but not with the old parts.
Would be better if they were a lower profile and a more modern design.
