Ok...

Done. I know you can't see the ABL that well as the lighting is horrible and I'm using my camera from my phone, but....hopefully you get the idea. In person, it's perfect...all the way across....it's perfect. Hopefully this vid might help someone.

Feel free to fast forward when I put down the camera. I had it set down for maybe a minute...

Tag...I like your solution better than mine!

2 questions...what is the thickness of the weatherstripping, and did you use it on the drivers side as well?

I found the right plastic rods and painted a stripe on the back.

Thickness....crap. I'll have to measure tomorrow. No, I haven't actually finished the drivers side.

You know how you get something "close enough?" well, I got that a long time ago with the driver side and haven't bothered with it since. I need to get back in there and actually get it done right. It's a bit wide and shows too much light.

Well I am done to the point of being content with it. Once a get a little bit more patience I will tweek things here and there. This was with some weatherstripping as well as 2 more layers of Gray Industrial 3M doublesided tape added in between the trim and clips.

I I was tryig to adjust my ABL and broke the drivers side LED. Ofer came out from AZ to CA to hook me up with a new LED and custom harness during my lunch break on Thursday. What a great guy! Thank you so much!

** Side note, he was not feeling well and was nauseous an lightheaded. His vision became blurred. Due the the unusually humid weather we have been having in So Cal, it was clear to me that he was dehydrated. I am not sure if he was able to meet up with the other gentleman he had in mind but I hope he is feeling better!

Got it installed and is looking great!

Looks great!!! I am about to tackle this myself! Also going to do the doors. Do you know if the tubing has to be heated up to do the curves on the doors? Just trying to get my thoughts together here!
