Fan control wasn't working today

Got in to drive home and went to turn on the AC and nothing... I turned the dial from 0 all the way up and it kept displaying "off" on the mylink screen. I spun the dial back and forth a few times still just kept saying "off"

Eventually I switched the air out put from face and floor to just face and it then registered as it was on and worked normally. Any idea what the deal was?

I had the same issue occur twice on my 2014 ZL1- I brought it to the dealer and left the car on so they could see the issue (my worry is that it would have worked if I turned the car off and back on again).

My car just needed a calibration update. My service report said the following:

Complaint: C/C that HVAC controls are inop. Check and report
Cause: HVAC Module out of calibration (6581)
Correction: Checked cause of HVAC inop. found DTC U1510. Found calibration update to correct concern. Programmed HVAC Module with the latest cal. HVAC system is working now.

Hope this helps.

Just had this issue again today. Took a video this time... Is this the same thing yours was doing?

I have an appointment at the dealer to get this hvac update flashed. Is there any way to see what version I have now and compare it after they flash it? Just like to visibly see something has changed

I'm not sure. The dealership told me I needed an update once he plugged his diagnostics machine into mine. Not sure what version I had or which I now have. Just know it worked.

Let me know how it goes, my friend.
