Brake Rotors

I am in the need of some break rotors, seeing as you can see the current ones I have really good with my Vossen CV-1 I have on now. The issue is that I am on a tight budget as I am purchasing the wife a X5. So I have allotted $500 for a set of four, I don't know if that is reasonable but either way I was hoping to get some slotted and drilled or dimpled ones. What's you guys thought or recommendations ?

Try cleaning and/or painting. No reason to waste money on new ones...which after a season will look the same.

Try E-Bay. I do alot of business with Brake Motive. They have the drilled/slotted rotors, and ceramic pads as a package deal. I have had very good luck with many different aplications of thier product.

I work at the BMW plant in S.C. and we build the X5, X6 and X3. What color did you get?

Granattelli Motor sports sells a set of 4 for just under $500. You can get them from Summit Racing.

I have brakeperformance rotors. They've worked well for me so far and they're reasonably priced.
