Sure it should be an option, it will distinguish the men from the boys...

I voted in favor to an auto... everyone hates on me for my 2SS having auto, but CA traffic sucks and I would rather just drive it.... personnally I do not get the steering wheel and the suade interior.. also very limited options for the ZL1. So no interest in buying one... If I had a lot of extra money I would get one.. I tried to get Ms Pickler not sure of the spelling at Camaro Fest II to tell me how much it was going to cost... all she said it start saving...

What if you just want to consistently kick the manuals a$$?

Exactly. And to Charlie, it's not a matter of if we can row gears hahaha it's a matter of us not wanting to and/or prefer a tuned paddle-shifted 6l80E.

IF you want me to buy one I want the Auto. From VW Bugs, to Jeeps CJ's and a Lotus Europa I've enjoyed a manual transmission, but with age and arthritis in the left knee the automatic is want I want. AND, I can still shift when I want, just better paddle shifters PLEASE.

I do want a "get rid of that ugly, 90's looking steering wheel' option though.

I guess I'm a purist at heart. I just don't believe true sports cars should have automatic tranny's in them...... unless it uses true F1 paddle shift technology like what you see in Ferrari's and Lambo's. In that case it's game on!
