I have no idea what GM's going to do with the GMT-355s. Ford's killing off the Ranger in the US...maybe GM will follow suit.

If a replacement is in the works, it'd be great to have it soon...I just read an article about the Ridgeline and its dismal sales and the author used the fact that even the Colorado outsold it to illustrate that fact.

Not the best source but: http://autoten.com/2010/09/16/2012-c...700-rendering/

http://autoten.com/2010/07/01/2012-c...gmi700-sketch/

I read on leftlane that the replacement will be smaller and cheaper.. To move back towards the s10 price point/size.

Whatever they do....They'd best have it ready for the 2012 MY, because consumers will be begging for a fuel-efficient pickup. Few people with full-sizers I know of today really utilize everything the truck has to offer. But it was hardly more expensive than the smaller guys...and fuel economy was 'okay'.

Something about the Sonic hatchback has my attention....thats really odd because I have never liked small hatchbacks. Go GM!

Any price guesstimates?

I haven't seen any prices yet, but I'd guess on par or less than an equivalent Fiesta. But that, ladies and gentlemen, is what we call a guess.
