If it does it again, I'm going staright to the dealer. I'll be keeping my eye on this thread.
A cleaner burning engine still keeps the intakes cleaner.
EGR less engines bleed some exhaust up through the intakes. Cleaner exhaust
Cleaner intakes.

Well we will see how long this lasts.... I have to take the Camaro in tomorrow for them to replace injectors 1 3 & 5... if it is carbon deposits, why would it only be on one side? What about 2 4 & 6? Im sure that will be NEXT WEEK!!! Wouldn't it also foul out the plugs?

My light ended up coming on in mine. Plugged into the OBD and pulled the code, I've got cylinder misfire as well. Made an appt to take mine in on Weds. We'll see what my dealer says, I'll let you know what I hear. Ridiculous that I have any issue whatsoever at < 13000 miles. I have low miles but I drive regularly, just not far and it is garage kept.

Good luck with that! We bought our car brand new in October 2012 and have had nothing but problems right after it turned 8,000 miles. Every week the check engine light is coming on!!!! Glad I'm not the only one having problems. Oh, by the way, love the BLACKED OUT CAMARO.... that is sweet!!!

Thanks. I have a bit of a bias here but I also think it looks sick

So just got a call from the dealership, pretty much what I expected. Not totally sure what caused it, theres a software update that they applied that could address it. If it happens again call him right away (I was tied up and it was maybe a week since the light first came on, said it was too many cycles to get more info or something).

I have owned the car for 2 years and 2 months. I have 10 months of warranty left. If this is going to be a problem, hopefully it is sooner than later.

Well it took them 2 days to replace 3 injectors. The service tech noted on the repair paperwork that we "need to keep more gas in the car to prevent the carbon deposits". It had about 1/8 of a tank when it was dropped off. The low fuel light wasn't even on. What a load of crap!! I already have a case # and have been talking to a GM customer service manager... guess I will be talking to him again REAL SOON!!!!

Mayswell keep this thread going... My car is throwing codes for Cly 2, 4, and 6 as well as my bank 2 sensor 1 O2... so it will be dealer bound, but just how much am I going to have to pay to get this fixed since my "bumper to bumper" warranty ran out about 15k ago

They should work with you if you have not had the re-flash done yet.
Usually just re-flash and send you home with the car.

They told me all they work they did is covered under the drivetrain warranty.
And make sure you tell them about the reflash toocool mentioned...pretty sure that's all my car needed in the first place.
