I need someone from Jersey who is willing to bring their car to me so i can test one of these master cylinders in their car. your car must grind second gear at high rpm only.

I need to get someone lined up so were ready to do it once i get another one built.

stieger I know you asked , are you in Jersey? I know your location says Meadville. is that Meadville NJ ?

No unfortunately. I'm in Meadville PA. I haven't mapped it but it'd probably be around a 4-5 hour drive for me (depending where in Jersey you are).

And yea I was asking about the remote bleeder.

Very interested in this thread... my 1-2 shift isn't very friendly and could cause issues in the future. When it gets that way I really have to push the clutch pedal to the floor to get the unfriendly 1-2 shift to stop.

I really hope this upgrade to the Clutch Master Cylinder does the trick. It's a very annoying feeling almost everytime I go into second but not enough for a warranty claim. Even if I got a warranty claim I'd end up with the same flawed parts so... I'm definitely on the list for this if it works.

If it's proven to work during all the testing, I'd get one.

I would be interested in something like this. I have a LPE upgraded 20% ZR1 clutch. I hope something like this could help me out. This clutch hasn't been drag racing friendly with me.

This master cylinder flows more fluid and feels better then stock.

What i'm looking for is a volunteer. I want to install one of my master cylinders in someone elses car and see if it works for them.

So heres the deal:

I need one volunteer
you car must have a stock trans and i would like a stock clutch but i will accept an aftermarket clutch
and your car must only grind second gear at high rpm shifting only. If it grinds during regular driving or low rpm shifting i wont test it on your car.
you get to keep the master cylinder for free for being a test sample.

who would like to volunteer?
it will take me a few days to get another master cylinder built.

Add me to the list. I had the sticking clutch pedal and got a mantic single disk and at the same time put in the Tick performance SS master line and remote bleeder. The pedal doesn't stick any more but still feels a little spongy with hard driving/shifting. And you're right that remote bleeder line makes it easy to bleed.

Also...
Are there rubber bushings on the clutch slave cylinder on these cars? (replace with poly/solid metal)
How long is the slave cylinder plunger? (install longer plunger)
Are the clutch lines rubber? (replace with stainless lines)
