OOooohh...I like, I like.

I do ... have a special request, though. You know how Chris has the little logos instead of the names? SW logo for stainless works, etc? Would you be able to do something like that?

At'sa lotta camber! That modification was right up your alley

Did you have to soften up the rear at the auto-x to keep it from oversteer?

lol...yeah, I LOVE how easy it is to change the camber now. If I could get a lower floor jack, it would make it that much faster. I hate having to drive it up onto a couple 2x4's to get it high enough to put the jack under it. I suppose I'll go and buy one...."soon."

But, it give me 2 degrees of camber and makes a HUGE difference. I tell ya...the road drives the car.

But there's no oversteer. With the new FE5 rear set up, the rear end tucks right in around every curve. I have more problems with understeer than anything. Tired of those front tires not wanting to grab.

Which brings me to the rims. I want new ones. I wanted to go 11's all the way around with 305's. But....anyone think that would look ... dumb? Should I go 11's in the back and 10's up front? Thoughts? I just want as wide as I can go up in front w/out looking like sh!t and still getting the best grip possible.

Pete knows a lot more about wide tires on the car than I ever will... I know track width is important, he probably knows the secret offsets needed to square the front with the back, and if you can do it with 11" width.

1LE and ZL1 setup sure looks sweet... just say'n

i've heard of some C5 vettes running 305s all around for road racing, or a 295/305 setup

Yeah....Pete's got the 305's all the way round on 10.5" rims. They work really well for him.

I'm just contemplating....Not sure what to do. I know I can get 305's on there. But, do I want to keep all 4 rims and tires the same? I think I'd like to do that. Maybe 11s all the way around with 295's? Shit....

I dunno...

If anyone around is interested in helping me out on doing a PS of my car with the black ZL1 wheels on there, I'd greatly appreciate it. Then changing the color to silver and also gray....

Pretty please....

Maybe I'll go ask in the PS thread too...

Here are the black wheels, and then the silver. Is that what you're looking for, are do you want the black wheels painted?

i'm running 295/35-18s on 10.5s & they fit perfect. probably could do 305s with minimal sidewall roll (depending on the manufacturer). for you with a 305 on 20s, i'd say 11 is your best bet

even better if he'd give them the same treatment as his current Dale Jrs

DAYUM. Thanks, Russ! Yeah....I wanted to do the paint job to them before mounting and all, but just not sure. I love the look of the black rims. And that pic kinda makes me lean towards keeping them black.

But, I thought about powder coating them either gray or silver and painting a blue rim on the inside (kinda like Joe wanted to do with his wheels where he was going to do red).

Still up in the air but leaning towards black. Love the look of those black rims....sweeet
