New IPF S/C on LFX Question
I need to find out how the described-in-the-instructions gas tank vent one way valve is installed and what it looks like. The directions included with the kit show an LLT engine and the instructions are really not helping me, as the set-up on the LFX is quite different. The gas tank vent isn't plumbed into the throttle body on the passenger side, as it is in the LLT. It's on the passenger side, farther back along the intake plenum.
Furthermore, there wasn't a valve like the one described in the instructions on my parts list, so I'm wondering if I even need one at all. If any LFX owners with this IPF S/C kit installed can snap a picture for me, along the passenger side of the intake plenum, with the engine cover removed? The line has a solenoid at the point it enters the plenum, then kind of makes a 90 degree turn as it headsdown the engine a ways before turning toward the back of the car. At least I think that's what that line is, as there's no other relateable connection leading into the intake. The only other check valve used on the kit is located in the brake booster line, which I installed with no problems. It was on my parts list, described as a check valve, and it was the only one listed there and the only one included. Thanks in advance, John B.
