******** X2 Connector Help! HURRY!

Guys,

In the middle of my stereo install and I'm wiring the X2 speaker wire to my amp.

Problem: My X2 connector has two sets of wire marked LEFT FRONT.

One set is green and one set is white.

The green set is right above (or below) the RIGHT FRONT (gray wires)

The white set is in the next slot over....toward the middle.

Which is of the two is actually the LEFT REAR?

Thanks!!

To Steve: I'm a small business owner as well in the service industry. I answer my phone anytime it rings. If I'm not in the office, the phone gets forwarded to my cell. It's all about customer service my man! You need to be easier to get in touch with if you are going to make specialty products. JMO.

Hi have the top half of my X2 in my hand. EATIT is correct:

GREEN - Left Rear
PURPLE - Right Rear
WHITE - Left Front
GRAY - Right Front

All of our harnesses now use eia standards for wire color. This is different from the first couple versions where we allowed the manufacturer to select the colors they wanted to use. We paid more to achieve this, but it makes for a much better harness overall. EIA is the industry standard that you would find on any aftermarket radio for instance. That way the colors can be instanty recognized without the need for a key or legend. If you have installed a few aftermarket decks, you probably have these colors memorized already. If not, I have provided a full chart below.

Wire Color Function
white w/ orange stripe 12v amp turn-on
purple wires right rear channel solid is+ blk stripe is-
green wires left rear channel solid is+ blk stripe is-
gray wires right front channel solid is+ blk stripe is-
white wires left front channel solid is+ blk stripe is-
