I have to ask why didn't GM put this exhaust on the SS in the first place?
Did GM really think the SS looked good with those big ugly cans hanging down? |

I installed the mufflers on our L99 it still sounded quiet. I removed the resonator and swapped it out with an x-pipe and now I am happy. Very little droan at cruising speed,nice town throughout acceleration and it does not sound funny when it goes into 4cyl.

Installing the 92206992 tomorrow. They certainly will look better, not show, and the embossed tips are way cool, but a guy at the dealership told me today he installed a set yesterday and they were no louder than the stock. I'll report back tomorrow P.M.
