Request: Cloth Interior Pics

I saw a picture somewhere of the cloth interior. I don't know if it was concept or production or what. I can't find them now.

Anybody know where I can find pics?

I really don't need leather and if I can get the console gauges installed at the dealer, as I just heard, I won't need to go to the 2SS.

Yep, I think that's the ones I saw earlier. Too utilitarian.

Leather for me! I wonder if the hole pattern in the leather material will help keep your butt and back from sweating?

BTW, I sure hope all seat styles don't have that snapped strap for the shoulder harness guide. I can see that wearing out real quick, along with the seat material itself.

I don't care if I sweat, V8 power needs leather seats!

I most likely will have to get cloth for price unless the leather option for a 1SS is cheap, but it also depends on the cloth, cloth in silverados before the new model were very nice, new body cloth was garbage so if it is crappy cloth i guess i will just suck it up and pay a bit more

Just so you don't have to wait for all those [great] pics to load in that link, here's the cloth seats IN THE IVER. (Chances are they'll look much better --if not totally different-- at production time.)

Before I go on, perhaps a few words on what an IVER vehicle is and why it is important to the program. In essence, an IVER is a fully representative prototype vehicle. The abbreviation IVER stands for "Integration Vehicle Engineering Release." So the end vehicle is the culmination of the computational and hardware development of all the vehicle subsystems. It's also the only time we will prototype a whole vehicle in the real world.
What do we use an IVER vehicle for? Well, it performs many functions in all areas of the business, including engineering, manufacturing, quality, marketing, etc. Its significance to the program is paramount; however, as in the case of quality, manufacturing, and engineering, the focus shifts from the virtual world to the physical world. It is also the time when the program shifts from development to validation. So the design of the program is now essentially complete, and our focus shifts to the execution and validation of the product into a really great car.

In other words...it's a beat-up test car with hundreds of thousands of miles on it...people getting in and out...and not production-intent materials to the best of my knowledge. I wrote it in caps to make that perfectly clear.

well, I suck at the finding of the pics... but I believe that the IVER car in Indy was the cloth interior 1SS six speed prototype... so if there's anyone that has pics of the IVER that was at Indy, those would show it.
